1. Vitrified grinding wheel
Vitrified bond is a vitreous binding material and generally contains pores inside while other materials contain no pores. Therefore vitrified bond wheels have excellent grinding ability and are superior in forming.
(1) Characteristic of vitrified bond wheels
Wheel grinding ability and wheel life depend on the combination of binding material, super abrasive mesh size, concentration, and porosity. The harder the bond, the longer wheel life is achieved.
(2)Vitrified bond diamond grinding wheel enjoys characteristics of good self-sharpening, blocking-free, high grinding efficiency, superior finish, long working life, less heat and easy dressing.
2. Application of vitrified bond grinding wheels
Vitrified diamond grinding wheels: Mainly used for machining tungsten carbide, ceramic, cermets, optical glass, PCD, PCBN, CVD, natural diamond, stones and so on
